Thought I’d share a few pics of my most recent toy, bought it about 8months now to keep my coronet company, it started out as a nice original unmolested car but I couldn’t leave it alone! 8-[

So is this just the runabout whilst the Coronet is finished? :)

My Aussie Charger was a stop gap whilst I built the Challenger, but I don't think I'd part with either now.

Yes that was the plan, but like you with your charger, I don’t think it will be going anywhere haha

Nice ride.

That’s it lol, I can’t seem I leave things alone haha here is a pic of it below, it was a nice original patina’d car but it did need a little bit of a welding, so once i did the small repairs it needed, I thought I may aswell remove and plug the trim holes. It’s a shame to get rid of the patina but as I do body and paint anyway I may give it a lick of paint in the future aswell👍

The wheels have transformed it straight away. I see bright yellow with The Judge stripes.

Maybe that's what I meant! Badge engineering and all that.

Not my specialist subject but I believe it's Pontiac (GTO) Judge or Buick (Skylark) GSX :study: ;)

Like Plymouth Duster or Dodge Demon I guess... :-k

GM's A body platform of this era is a bit more than "badge" engineering - I don't think there's any commonality in body panels between the Buick/Pontiac/Chevrolet/Oldsmobiles irrespective of the sub-structure/chassis plus the engines are usually entirely different even when the capacity is the same so internal parts for your Buick 455 will not fit a 455 Olds.

I'll have a rummage through my model collection and see if I can do small scale comparison later.

Matt: No law against putting Pontiac GTO Judge stripes on a Buick if you want although anyone who puts trunk stripes on a 442 however should be sectioned; it's not a Chevelle! Now where's my medication.....

Likewise, putting Bumble Bee stripes on a Plymouth... should be a hanging offence... oops   #-o

I got a bit carried away one afternoon and decided to strip it, I’m giving it a full respray, been flat out on it the last 3weeks doing all the body work and it’s now in primer, hopefully will get some colour on it over the next few weeks, so much for a stop gap runaround lol
