Narrowed them down to just 180... and I'm sure there would have been more if we hadn't arrived 1½ later than expected thanks to a bad accident on the A41 :? Air ambulance and everything

Still, once we'd arrived, we followed the not too bad queue across the airfield (one advantage of being late  ), only to be pulled aside and asked if we wanted to park on the airfield or in amongst the buildings - one of the marshals said we'd got one of the 'golden tickets', so the first marshal must have taken a liking to the Dodge :D

First reasonable spot we found was next to the blue Valiant which we'd seen around - used to be Tim Fennell's... don't know the current owner tho :-k
There was so much to see in and around the workshops we didn't venture out to see what was parked on the airfield till most had already left, so we didn't get to see Robert and his 70 Chally :?

Talking of Bentleys... this workshop (Kingsbury Racing Shop) - as I overheard - are making parts for another Bentley shop onsite, who are making 12 'continuation' 4½ litre blower-Bentleys, based on the famous car that 'Tim' Birkin raced at Le Mans in 1930.
That actual car (UU5872) was also on display... apparently the most valuable Bentley in the world thanks to it remaining almost completely original... tens of millions, they say
See here if you don't believe me:  http://www.vintagebentleys.org/newslett ... age-14.php

It's a great venue, only been once so far but will return. Superb collection of vehicles there, thanks Rob.

No that belongs to Steve who keeps it at Bicester. There were three there together last time we went.

Think I'd prefer calling it an Albino Green Goddess (given the option!)
