Hi all, just conversing a 318 to 360 in my Coronet and having pulley problems.
Basically the AC type pulley from the 318 catches on the water pump pulley. The outer ring/groove overlaps the water pump pulley.
I can’t understand why as no such problem existed on the 318 when running. Al the grooves line up but the two pulleys catch. Has anyone got any pulleys they could sell that would work for my sat up? Aftermarket prices are crazy!

Re: Pulley problems
Did the 318 have an iron water pump? Ally pumps use different offset pulleys, they don’t interchange.

Re: Pulley problems
It was all the same Blue. I’ve included a pic of the 318 set up as it was in the car before, it shows the water pump pulley sittin behind the crank pulley whic I cant establish now.
I’ve used a spacer under the crank pulley which has bought me some minor clearance, but I know need to take a Drexel to the water pump snout a touch to get clearance there.
