Yep main reason I always fit one, don’t know how I still have all my fingers the amount of times I’ve clipped them.

Still numb at the ends and one a bit wonky, could have been a lot worse!

I got caught by a 351ci Ford with a Stainless Steel Flex fan and no Shroud - claret everywhere!

Thanks for looking anyway, Pete. :salute:

I’ll be ordering one over Christmas, that’s for sure. Once is enough for me.

It’s moved out, made a lot more room for manoeuvring round the Challenger.

Didn’t get much done at the weekend, as was defeated early doors by being knackered, but should make some good headway on Saturday.

I have no idea how I still have all my fingers left, just doing some jobs and got 3 of them battered by the fan, thank God only on tickover.

Stay safe, Mopals! Ouch-ouch, over and out for 2022 me-thinks… :pale:
did similar on a 50's Bristol 403. fan goes invisible and only remembered it was there when i went to squeeze the top hose.

sadly people have been caught out by plane propellers as they will go completely invisible when turning at speed., not even a blurred outline.

Thank God it wasn’t a plane prop!

I never did order the fan shroud, but that’s reminded me I must do that at the weekend. :thumbright:

The Mancini shroud bolts right up to a Champion rad with a slight bit of clearanceing for the top hose. It will leave a gap at the top (shiny area in the photo) which is easy enough to deal with.

Thanks Blue, that’s exactly the one I was looking at. :thumbright:

Is that a 22”, or do you run bigger?
