Herts Auto Show

After a couple of years away, this show returned to Stanborough Park nr Welwyn / Hatfield last weekend. This was the first time it was spread over 2 days and as Saturday was dry and bright and Sunday had occasional drizzle, it was a tad quieter on the Sunday than previous years
I say quieter... the popping and banging brigade over where the modern stuff was parked made themselves heard alright. Oh and the Merlin engine being run a few times must kept the neighbours happy
It was good to see Pete and Julie out in the 'cuda with its new 'rake' tho it was hard to tell, parked on the slope
Also good to be out with Paul in his 61 Impala 'Michael' (Bubble... geddit?) for one last time as it was moved on to a new owner on Tuesday
Oh and in case you weren't aware Pete, that Citroen DS in front of you on the way out was being driven by Mark Jackson who also owns the ex-Stuart Keen 69 hemi Coronet, amongst many others!
