When changing rear quarters, trunk floor and outer wheel houses, I have been looking around the internet at lots of sites, it seems there are mixed opinions on bracing the rear end before changing these parts. Some say leave them on its wheels others say to brace it up. I would have thought you should brace the body. What are you opinions? as lot on here have done this to their cars. :?

I didn't brace anything, I just changed a panel at a time.
I have seen other cars have brace bars tacked in to hold things in position when removing large chunks. (Morris Minors)

We made sure the shell was well supported both ends and the centre. Also only worked one area at a time.

I had the back of my charger completely off except for the inner wheel tubs which remained attached to the floor that goes under the seat. I added some bracing though. It doesn't take long to add some square tubing or angle so if in doubt I would brace it.
