Hey all,

I've received the steel crank scraper from Ishihara-Johnson.
I've offered it up to the bottom of the block and something doesn't quite look right to me.
The overall length is correct but i'm sure the flat site has been drilled incorrectly.
The bolt holes I believe are near symmetrical from the one side to the other?

Hoping that Blue or others may provide some guidance or input as the delivery came with no Instructions or guidance.

My thoughts are the Trans end hole (only) is in the correct position. This then aligns all the tabs with the Crank steel where you bolt it in.
The rest of the bolt holes and the dipstick location is then off.

If i do it the other way and align the pan holes it pushes the scraper to the right

Both sides together with symmetry on the pan bolt holes

Have i missed something?
I tried it all different ways, but it just looks wrong to me.
All input gratefully received before I go back to him.

I reckon it’s drilled wrong, the oil filter side clearly fits better with the rear hole lined up. From what I remember the other side, the sticky up bits fit inside the block. I have some instructions and I might have photographs, I’ll have a shufti…

Here you go, this is an older style I had on my 360, one side is just a flat spacer. I don't seem to have any photos of the 408 which had a similar style to yours.
