A few of you older members would have known Les Szabo who was well known in the Mopar scene of the ‘70s &‘80s. I must have first met Les in about 1979 as he was one of the local racers and had sporadic contact ever since. There’s an obit on eurodragster http://www.eurodragster.com/news/news.a ... #january27

That's a bit of a shock, RIP Les, he owned my old 68 Charger over 45 years ago.

Sad news. I was only talking to Jim about him a few weeks ago, in relation to engine builds and ETs.

Yup, very sad. Saw him a couple of years ago. Hadn’t changed much. I expect he’ll be buried with a roll up in the side of his mouth, and wearing his anorak. RIP Les.

RIP Les, did not know him personally but I certainly knew of him, his 71 SB Cuda was always an inspiration and I saw it frequently back in the day. He used to also be quite active on Moparts
