Le Mans Classic 2023

Post by Adam »

Planning to tick this off the bucket list this year (29/6 - 2/7). Anyone else going?

A company called Travel Destinations have been recommended to us, but I'm tempted to organise it ourselves. Any tips? Best campsites, grandstands etc (Rob, Guy, Andy)?

TIA

Travel Destinations do all options.
Triumph Sports Six Club is camping only but in a good spot overlooking the track.
There are a few of us going, its a blast, you'll love it.
Get there Thursday so you can look round the pits early before any racing starts.
Get a paddock pass, not much more money and worth it.
Dont go home on the Sunday, have a relaxed night and drive back Monday if you can.

hi Adam
Yes we are going again this year as is it is a centenary year so going to be even bigger , better and more cars and racing .
We have been with Travel Destinations before and ok you may pay a little more but they are a good professional outfit who organise the camping , have loos, showers , a small restaurant and bar and most importantly you are at Porshe Curves. Easy access to the track and we always go for grandstand tickets for the weekend .
You camp up in a space marked out for car and tent along with others , great crack with everyone there ........... just a great , and very different weekend , and the fun starts even on the M25 with loads of other cars you meet on the way .
Do it , its great !
Yours
GUY :salute:

Thanks Guy. Just got to persuade Karen to camp. Even thinking of renting a camper van!

Late to reply on this one, going again this year.
Fast track tours is the group i go with use.

You can opt for pre-erected tents and it includes padding passes and breakfast/dinner.

Can't wait its been a few years.

Did Monaco with the same company last year for the classic and it was superb.
