70 Charger Wiper motor.

Post by Steve Ottley »

I've got to the point in the rebuild where I need a wiper motor. The one I have is a 3 speed which has been butchered in the past, the park mechanism is missing and the wires are burnt. Has anyone out here got a working 3 speed motor which they're willing to let go? Or has anyone substituted a 2 speed. I think that I would need a 2 speed switch to suit in this case. Has anyone fitted anything other than a Mopar motor? I've been a Hot Rodder for too many years to mention and have adapted all sorts of wiper motors into early Fords, but I feel in this case I should lean toward originality. Cheers.

I think there are companies in the states that rebuild if you have no luck in the UK.

Yeah thanks guys, I'm aware of Topher in the states but I was hoping for a solution a little closer to home !. Perhaps that might be my only solution.

1973 Polara motor follow the link below and click "notify when in stock" might take a couple of months but thats how I got mine. You then lift the cover slightly and rotate to the appropriate position to set the park, as in the photos.
