bolt sizes

hi all,
does anyone know of the top of there head what size of bolts holds the carb down on a 4 bbl edelbrock manifold and also the bolt that holds down the air filter on a holley carb?

I think the carb to manifold bolts are 3/8" NC16.

99.9% sure the studs (not bolts) for the air filter to carb are 1/4" NC20.

Carb studs are usually dual thread size. I assume you do mean bolts.

hi kev,
no im not 100% what im after realy. my second hand manifolds just come throught the post without bolts/studs for the carb. i just asumed it would be bolts but if its studs im needing do you know where id get them from?

pretty sure the studs are 5/16ths not 3/8ths
(take half inch spanner sized nuts)

Bolts for carb to manifold are 5/16 unc ( standard forr 99% of us cars) the air filter stud is either 1/4 unc or 5/16 unc unless you have an early dominator ( 5/16 bsw) if you need studs let me know i have some , studs are better than bolts if you intend to keep taking the carb off . i will have some at the nats if you need them.

trev i wouldent mind some studs from you. i wont be making it down to the nats. could you post them up to me and i'll send a cheque to cover the studs and postage costs?
