Re: a bit of this and a bit of that

Re: a bit of this and a bit of that
we dropped the exploder axle off and collected the fe engine and box today. no time to check the 'true' size yet as other 'honey dos' took priority at home, lol.

Re: a bit of this and a bit of that
we're collecting the '360?' fe engine and box sunday so we can check if it's actually a 360 or a 390. my problem now is the fact that it's manual so i'm looking at 5 speed boxes to bolt behind it. it's a sickness this hobby/lifestyle of ours and there seems to be no cure

a bit of this and a bit of that
we have such a wide variety of stuff in and out that i thought i should have a 'cover all' thread for it, apart from my nash and ashley's zephyr of course.
so to kick things off we have another ford exploder rear axle in to be narrowed. we'll remove the easy 2 7/8" we've done a few times before by ...

i'd be tempted to put up a lean to in front of the garage, maybe not with doors but at least a carport type of thing. then if it rains you're still under cover.

Re: '58 (nash) rambler american family project
i just ordered a cheapy clickety clack fuel pump and inline filter to convert my parts washer to use 'real' fluid that'll dissolve oil/carbon/grease etc. unlike the water based cr4p they say to use which is as much use as a chocolate fireguard stuff like paraffin, petrol etc actually cleans parts ...
