it occurred to me today that i shouldn't 390 the 360. it's likely the 360 will run fine as is so surely i'd be better off boring one of the 'spare' 352 blocks 50 over to match the stock 390 pistons so i'm starting with nice fresh round bores and new rings. that's give me 2 running fe's, 1 4r70w o/d ...

parts washer arrived today, it's bl00dy heavy!. i'll unpack it some time this week and decide where it's going. there's 25l of solvent cleaner on the way too so it gets a good start before stale petrol, old thinners etc gets poured in there too.
