circuit 4 allows you to use an HEI module on a car with points

granted circuit and remarks about coil primary resistance are aimed at bike and scooter owners with RPM ranges way out of car league

but circuit 4 eminently suitable for a mopar with orginal points dizzy (have a better advance curve in some cases)

junk the ballast and run a modern ford or GM external frame coil

points will last 1000s of miles more. contacts won't wear out
throw them away when they loose their springyness

obvioulsy if you bypass the circuit to run on points you will weld em
