Good one Ivor.
This afternoon I decided to do something more constructive to the car (mainly because of Clivey's nagging) to bring it along a bit further.
So I decided to to one job I have been putting off for months.
Fitting the drivers side door glass.
I had to take the glass out because I was having bother taking the door mirror off. Or something like that. It was 3 years ago now so i can't remember what the problem was.
I also could not remember how the glass actually fits. Although I do remember it being a real pain on this car to do by yourself.
Well I managed. But what a fiddley job!
I just thought though....If it was themirror i was having bother getting off....I should have put that back on again first.
Oh hell.

Just an update.
The door cards and all the door hardware are now mounted and the doors and glass lined up.
The dash is in but not bolted in place.
Started routing the wiring.

Bet you must be chufffed with the results Dave, Dash/Doors in Carbon fibre is a nice touch & fits in well with the rest of the cars theme/style.
I also appreciate your patience in carefully cutting & trimming the carbon fibre, results always look a lot easier than what it actually takes to do

First one. Took half a day. I wasn't happy with it for several reasons. Couldn't get it to bend enough at the end (tight 90 degree bend forwards)latil wrote:How long to cut that?
Second one was easier and quicker as I had the first as a rough template and did a butt joint at the bend. I am still not 100% happy with it but time is getting on so it will have to do.
