Thanks .
Those heads sure look a piece of work sitting on the block , won't be too long now.
Had to shave the engine mounts down to clear the pad on the block , also had to fiddle with the oil line from pump , hoping it all works out when i trial fit the block , can foresee some issues with fouling on the K frame.

Checked rod bearing clearances , all @ .0025 thou with rod bolt stretched to .0065 thou , so all good , although #6 is still haunting me.
Checked P/V clearance @ 15* before & after TDC ex stroke , no probs , got around .350 lift , checked with a dial gauge on valve retainer preloaded from .100 to .350 , still no problem so good enough.
Rocker shaft hold down bolts go into intake ports , so had to seal these up , also cleaned oil ways to valve adjusters , as these oil the pushrods from spray bars.
Checked oil pump clearance , tis around .005 thou so ok @ that , just need the torque specs.
Got some done today , will be fitting tommorow , so hope no major issues

I don't have official figures, I personally would torque Oil pump to around 35/40ft lb
Harris # 4730 - Extra Long bristles - excellent brush, no brush strokes visible, ensure you use Tech Oil # 7770099 for cleaning brushes
