ok, I know its not the most exiting topic, but for those wondering these are the 100% legal "Jap" plates from www.platemyride.co.uk - slightly bigger than US plates but made from stamped metal with a DIN standard mark (rather than a British Standard mark). They arrived well packed and very quickly considering they came from Germany

I mounted them using 'marine' stainless allen-head bolts off ebay and the front plate uses a stainless bracket thats sold for JDMs, which goes under the airdam.
