It is only when you see the new Challengers next to the old that you realise how much bigger and heavier they look.

Personally the lower front spoiler makes the new car look waay heavier. I'd like to see one without. Still gorgeous tho.

What a great selection of photos, I will post a current photo as soon as I can. All I have are the ones taken last year, the car was a failed order but unfortunately it came without stripes. It was Christmas when I got the proper stripes sent from the states.
The colour is Tungsten Metallic, darker than the bright metallic shown on some of those pictures. Stripes are standard black, It took me ages to find that colour as it seems to be pretty rare, even in the states. (especially with a manual box).

Hello and welcome.

Just for info there might be some more clued up people than me on the 392 (6.4) but wasn't there some comments in the states about that engine having a timing chain thinner than the previous 6.1 and it letting go more than should be expected? If I can find the thread I will post the link. Some thought there was a link to the MDS that shifts it from 4 to 8 cylinders but I can't remember if this all blew over, whether Dodge accepted any issues or whether it was a non issue. But I think some lost their engine with under 10,000 on the clock allegedly just doing cruising speeds. If you bought the car brand new was anything discussed?

First I've heard of that, if you ever find it could be worth a read. Anyway if it is down to cylinder de-activation it shouldn't effect me as that's only on the autos.

Thanks for posting that thread, I've had a look at it and cant find one thats the same engine size/transmission configuration as mine.

Let hope the big plants are not going the same way, only seens to be the RT's with auto boxes.
