About to mask this ready for black paint. Should it be satin black?

Chrysler used several blacks on these cars. They were nearly all either completely flat black or just very slightly satin. Some were textured.

Satin black from a can in Halfords is too shiny. Having said that I think it looks better IMO.

Tetrosyl satin black matches all of the original satin on my cars perfectly....just done the Furys radiator in it and its come out great. It matches the trim moulding detail as well...great stuff. They do a gloss black as well that I used for my aircleaner....

Ive got some pics of a GTS in a book at home so will check later. Its one of the ex Otis Chandler collection so will be perfect and accurate..

Just had a good look through my porn collection and although I have a load of GTS pics it is impossible to tell from them whether it should be gloss, satin or matt. Im guessing satin as everything around that age and original seems to be satin.

If in doubt it might be worth a post on forabodies only, they will definately know. Surprised Dave 'the the Dart vinlicker' 81 doesnt k now for sure!!
