We were on our way back to the car after the burnout contest and stopped to talk to Roger and his wife, a guy came and stood behind them, after saying bye to Roger this guy asked if I was Derek, I said yes, he said his name was Bananarama! Bananarama!, we were then swore at and told if I did not remove his name there would be big trouble for me, he also told us that he used to be a bouncer and that he his not afraid of anyone.

The Bananarama! Bananarama! would not listen to a word I was saying and walked of to his mate who stood there laughing

He told me that Brooklands do not hold him responsible for us loosing Brookland (Bananarama! Bananarama!).

Can someone delete his name from Mustangbooks post on this thread
Just edited the thread Derek. Not a very nice man at all, then....
Thanks mate. :thumbright:

Yeah, we saw mr DHL

A discussion was had between the massive about whether we should thank him for screwing up the event. BUT common sense told us not to make the situation worse so we just walked past in the end.

I did think it was a bit cheeky of him despite his apparent apology and offer to pay for damage. I think if it were me I would have stayed away this year and let the dust settle

If it was him that threatened you or one of his mates I wish we had said something now.

It's very very wrong of him or his mate to threaten harm, anyway he likes to dress up the threat.

He might have been a bouncer but clearly he is also a no88er

I hope you and your wife are ok, if a bit shaken I'm sure.

He will have his comeuppance in the future on doubt

Saw him driving at the NATS........if it was him Derek, he's not small and I'd say his appearance would backup his bouncer past!

So he likes to bully people too.........I believe in karma.......let nature take its course.

Be interesting if he turns up again next year..........MMA has over 300 members does it not - tell him you know people who now people who drive proper muscle cars!

I was behind his car in the fire up lane, recognised it instantly coz he had his balls hangin off the back of the car instead of where they should have been, I mean, satin black with chrome balls ........ come on, just uses his size to intimidate, seen it all before and typical of all bullies, na, don't wash with me

If the Nats organisers decided a ban was in order I'm sure the Pod would enforce it.

Sad note to end the great weekend on....well handled with dignity Derek. Be interesting if he was banned.....change of plates, take off chrome balls and I bet he'd be trying to get in next year just to be smug.

I'm sorry to hear about this Derek and I hope you and Liz are okay, if this knob end is a member of the 300C club I think their committee should be informed.

I agree, and you should tell Donna. If she's aware that you personaly have been threatened as a result of your attempt to resolve Brooklands problem it may help in a decision re the MMA at Brooklands.
