Thanks for all the appreciation of the Charger, it certainly is very frustrating not being able to driver her, as it has been 34 years since I last drove one !!! Just need to get out to garage and get the lights converted etc etc MOT, paper work, DVLA registered etc.etc

We have a local American themed diner near us "The Lollipop Diner" see below another forum commenting on it. It does not get all good reviews on Trip Advisor, but does have a massive car park and they do encourage groups to meet up there.

Could be a good spot to meet, if you guys have not already tried it. Would not be able to bring the Charger, as not registered yet, but could fire up the MK2 Jag.

The Lollipop Diner may well be worth a visit for a meet at some point. We do have a meeting place in Essex at the Dick Turpin but I don't think anyone goes coz no one bothers to organise anything, we are a lazy lot in Essex unlike the Herts mob they have Christmas Dinner and Curry nights

Shame really as I would quite happily organise meets etc but I don't think anyone would turn up. We also have an American themed Diner along the A127 called the Roadhouse, they too have a large car park and are happy to have people meet there.

Well things often get in the way of meeting up and we all suffer from apathy some times.

Maybe if there are not enough Mopar members in this area, we should jump on the back of others get together, these guys seem pretty active

http://eastcoastpirates.co.uk/site/

Anyone ever attended any of there get together ?

Don't know much about this group either but seem to be active with some of there own get together, as well as listing all the others.

Don't know why I am pushing this, as I cannot remember the last time I took one of my cars to a do !!

Suppose I am dreaming of long summer days cruising out in the Charger, well at least this time of year I can convince myself I would not have been driving it anyway. "It might get wet" as my wife says, taking the micky out of the fuss I make when taking one of the cars out !!
