Pics of your info display sheets at shows...

Post by danny_duke01 »

Just wondered what some of you guys do for shows regarding any info about the car/history/rebuild etc...

I'm trying to design one myself, not sure whether to go for poster size,or just an A4 sheet describing a bit about the history and build etc.

Shows us some ideas or what you have... :thumbright:

Cheers

Some people do A4/A3 adverts from the 70s.
Some do a small write up about their car.
Some go as far to put it in a picture frame!
Some put rebuild photos in an a4 file to show the cars beginnings to what they are stood next too!

Most just park them up, watch some racing and drink beer (being NATS specific)!

NEC is the only show I've been to that you get history style car info.

All the drag racing events are usually man and machine vs the 1/4.

It's true Danny, the corale at the Mopar Nats is full of all sorts of cars from my ratty patina'd Roadrunner to immaculate recreations of Mopar perfection.
I like it that way :thumbright:

I had a big one for the NEC, with details of what the car was a tribute of etc, i.e. photos of the real thing racing in 1970, as well as some photos of its restoration.
It was one of those signs you see outside shops that swing in the breeze.
It's a bit unwieldy but Ok for a big show.

Well I suppose one of those boards would end the 'are you going to restore it?' questions I get, when all the money and effort is in a completely renewed and performance orientated drive train that the viewer can't see :?
