70's car prices are really going mad.

Post by MattH »

I know porsches are getting valuable, but this looks mad. Not a late sixties one but 1975.
Visible rust even in a web photo, and auction estimate of £95K to £110K.
I can remember this shape Porsche for £5K.

Sounds crazy money for a car needing restoration, I'm sure I saw very tidy ones at less than half that money a couple of years ago.

A friend had a 72 911 about 15 years ago, which was a US import and un restored. Had a few glitches with the electrics but did drive really nice. I think he paid about £9k. I wonder if he still has it, might be worth a touch more now.

Nice 80's version for reasonable money - this will double no doubt in next few years.....
