I just double checked the Shakey Website and the event is actually scheduled for Saturday to Monday (i.e. the Bank Holiday).

No obvious mention of camping Friday but I assume that is still possible??

We plan to get there early Saturday morning still.

Car has not been fired up this year yet.............

Mopar corner is disappearing at a rate of knots. Not enough early birders to hold space anymore.

Will be there on Friday night. Always been open before.
24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not…

Excellent, thanks; but my guess is that the track is not open Friday.

Does that mean it is treaded tyres only on Saturday morning??/

No, track is not usually open on Friday. Just arriving, setting up camp and drinking beer with a Barbeque normally.

The treaded tyres is Nostalgia Nats usually, isn't it? Or am I just getting confused. Its all beginning to get a bit hazy these days.

A quick Update:

Guy Papworth has been in touch with Jerry at Shakey and confirmed there is NO track action on the Friday, but there will be action Saturday to Monday.

Thanks Guy!

Cheers

People need to try and make a bit of effort to get to these events, it helps support the track and the sport in general.

With Brooklands being cancelled I though more Mopar peeps would step out for this one. Be nice to see some more MMA faces there.
