Le Mans Charger in the Kitty Litter

Post by sprintgtvgus »

Not long back from Le Mans, had a great time as ever!

Unfortunately did not manage to get the Belvedere ready in time, but I did see a Fury and also this, wondered if they were members:

The charger had two blow up dolls in the back that looked like they were enjoying the "ride".

Made it there too. I did look for a blue 67 but couldnt find you.
Apparently you know my driver, Nick from piston heads?
Great to see Mopar out there with the sole Viper running, shame it didnt finish, but US Muscle did win GT Pro, the Corvette was the best sounding car there, and did a great rolling burn out on the finish line when lining up for post race scrutineering.

I also saw a Fury, it was Latil's old one UVB414T, stopped on the A28 in France with the bonnet up on the way back.

Yes, belvedere not ready, so borrowed my fathers C63 AMG estate, which lead to a fair bit of cocking about in tunnels and a couple of burnouts :)

Agree about the Corvettes!

Nick who? Might do but not sure of his full name or where we met, or just on-line?

Oh dear, that Fury could have been me, glad I waited as it would have been touch and go :)

You have a driver? Things must be looking up Matt!
You can't have too much power, only a lack of traction!

Is that C63 a black one? Were you on the Houx campsite?
If so you were camped near us, walked past that car to the loo every time.

My driver was Nick Milton in the blue 03 plate Jag XJ. He lives in Burnham-on-Crouch and we travelled with a group from there and Cold Norton. He mentioned you as you had chatted on line apparently.

We were next to the French who built the bottle pyramid near the fence, and the Danes who built their own urinal at the end of their gazebo.

It was a red estate.

We were in the new Epinettes Campsite, which is the opposite side of the road to Houx and or Houx annexe.

Ah can't recall speaking to nick, but he's very local, and I am a bit of a car forum anorak :)

LoL, never heard of bringing your own urinal! Where does it drain to... wouldn't want to be camping downstream!

We did have a loud PA and mixing desk, along with a projector that meant we watched a couple of films :)

There were certainly times when I wish I had my Mopar, I was looking around and thinking it would have been arguably the coolest car on my area of the camp-site, despite ferrari's etc, certainly for crusing about in anyway.
