Progress hasn't been as quick this last week. One reason is that the spray booth is a new feature to the workshop, so didn't have any doors! Doors have now been expertly made and are all hung and ready.

The door hinge arrived from Auto Metal. Shame it hadn't been here before it went to primer, but never mind. We got the door off (three man job!) and fitted the new hinge. Took the opportunity to remove the seats while the door was off too. Made life a bit easier!
Then of course, on refitting the door, nothing lined up... Lots of wiggling and adjusting later, we had a spot on fit. Actually had to re shim the wing as well. At least i now have a door with a ratchet rather than it just flopping about in the breeze.

All the paint has arrived now, so it was time to get on with more sanding and flatting. We used this awesome stuff that my mate has which is like a powder and makes a fantastic guide coat. Its amazing what it shows up. Went down to 500 grit, and now everythings leveled off.
The booth has been "de dusted", and final preparations are being made for top coat. I left him to it this afternoon, as i had to get the seats down the trimmers. Maybe some colour will go on today.. Maybe..

Provided there isn't a 01 on the side I'll think you'll be okay.

My guess is sublime or similar.

Don't cars look so much better when they all in one colour. The human eyes must just say "yes" when they see this - it looks great.

What colour is it going to be?
