Post by RoelB »

After nearly 4 months at the bodyman, I got the car back last night, now the work starts!!
All the bits are being stored in the guestroom, the wife doesn't mind

Thanks Alex, unfortunately no billboards, but it is supposed to have an elastomeric front bumper. which I do not have.
I've been thinking of dechroming the front bumper and have it painted B5

Superb Roel! ...and may I say what a superb colour! :occasion5:
By the way Roel, what paint did you use in the end?

Thanks guys for the kind words, but as you all know it's going to be a long journey from now on, hopefully I'll be finished for the nats.
We ended up using the metalplates next to the drivers seat, they were still all original color, as were a lot of other places, and had the colour mixed according to that.
Alex, I'll appreciate any info on that possible bumper that might be for sale
thanks again !
