Alloy wheel polishing-where to go ???

Hi guys

anyone recomend somewhere i can get a set of alloy wheels polished and the inserts painted,,, not diamond cut,, not plastic coated etc ????? nearest to cheshire ???

Can't recommend anyone up your neck of the wood Dunc.
Back in the day , I just kept my eyes peeled for a motor with the look I wanted , and asked the driver. ( wanted exactly what you do on a pug 1.9 GTI)
Not the best advice mate , but it seems it's all this diamond cut , water transfer thing now days.

If they've already got a bit of shine to them, you can give them a kiss with a good quality mop on a drill. Just use a bit of white soap and it's about 15-20 mins per wheel.
If they are oxidised you'll have to spend a few hours knocking them back with progressively finer grades of emery paper before mopping them. :thumbright:
