New Guy from South Wales
Hi Everybody,
My name's Jon Gwilliam and I'm new to the MMA and the forum.
I own a newly aquired 1968 Plymouth Sport Satellite in Mopar B5 blue.
Motor is a 383 (which I believe is the original block) stroked to 451 cu in with a big cam and single Holley 4 barrel on an Edelbrock manifold.
Transmission is the original factory 4 speed with a slightly vague Hurst shifter.
Been looking for a B body car like this (big block and manual) for many years, and finally taken the plunge.
Car runs really well and is mechanically very well sorted due to the care of the previous owner, and gets a lot of eyeball on the road!
Short term plans are to tidy up the interior (anybody got any dash parts or a parcel shelf?) and do a little work on the braking system.
Longer term plans are to take it to the Mopar Euronats and Dragstalgia next year, and fulfill a long time dream of getting on the track at Santa Pod.
This is my first Mopar (and American car!) so hoping that you will be generous with your experience and expertise!
All the Best - Limey

Re: New Guy from South Wales
Hi All,
Thanks for all the positive comments - Much appreciated!
DaveD - Just retired from working in Bridgend for 12+ years - Happy to meet up somewhere in between Cardiff and Bridgend sometime. PM me and we'll work something out.
Cannonball - Pictures were taken in the secure compound where we unloaded the car just after we brought her back from London, and where she now resides about 4 minutes from my house. Done a little tidying up since, so will post some newer pictures soon.
Hi Pete - Who's Larry? I'm really interested in gathering any history on the car since it was imported from Wisconsin in 2015, so if you have any info/contacts for previous owners I'd really appreciate it.
