Hi Stew, never been a fan of Saxon but used to like Y&T a lot, saw them many times 'back in the day'. Haven't seen them in ages tho
Hope the gig was worth the journey for you!
I like the Roundhouse tho - just ordered Rival Sons tickets for next Feb there

Hi Rob. Y+T couldn't make it due to the lead singer having a back injury,we got FM instead who were very good as support.

Wayward Sons were one I hadn't heard of but were pretty good too,all in all a very good night out even though I still cannot hear properly,we got right to the front

Hi Mark, no, unfortunately not. The Live & Dangerous double album was recorded in 76 & 77 and released in 78, just after this gig at The Rainbow March 78. They just used the album's name for this recording when it came out on dvd many years later
Our mate from school who we still see for gigs was at the Hammersmith gig in 76 (Jailbreak tour) that was used for L&D but we (Stutwin & I) didn't see them till Dec 77, on the Bad Reputation tour.
We only bunked off school once and it was to go to the Rainbow to get tickets for this gig! Nowadays I spose kids would sit in class and order them on their phone
