Pete wrote: Mon Apr 29, 19 10:40 am Mark - that is astounding!

Few of us could ever aspire to build (and fund!!) a car like that.

We desperately need a "Connected" Article on this build...and which bank you robbed!!!!

Just breathtaking.... :plymouth: :plymouth: :plymouth: :plymouth:

Thanks everyone one, it’s a time consuming project for sure, as pretty much everything is aftermarket, hand made, I probably spend as much time thinking about making bits, as I do actually making the bits. I’m lucky to have a good group of friends & racers who help with advice or help me doing parts I can’t do all by myself.

I have a good photo record of the build, so can pull something together when it’s all complete for the mag...

Well, I was mostly out at the Nostalgia Nationals at Santa Pod, fresh rebuild new torque convertor, etc.
It has changed the whole feel of the car and the power delivery.

Ran a best of 9.89 Secs at 137.

The best mph was 138.

The best 60 foot time was 1.40.

Loads more tuning to do.

Driver would benefit from some attention as I am useless on a Sportsman Tree.... I let the car down, it performed flawlessly all weekend, which was nice...

I actually did something on the Charger today, somehow the drivers seat back got a rip in it, so up in to the loft as you do and got a spare one out, off with the old in with the new, job done, fitted the seat back in the car then had to take it out again as I had forgot to fit the hinge covers.
