a bit of this and a bit of that

we have such a wide variety of stuff in and out that i thought i should have a 'cover all' thread for it, apart from my nash and ashley's zephyr of course.
so to kick things off we have another ford exploder rear axle in to be narrowed. we'll remove the easy 2 7/8" we've done a few times before by cutting the long side of the casing and fitting a 2nd 'short' shaft. also we'll be redrilling a set of slot mags to ford/mopar 5x4.5" pcd to suit both the above axle and a straight tube front axle. this lot along with a small block chevy engine/box will be jammed into a henry j gasser project a mate's building ready for next years racing at manston along with occasional street use. i'll get some pics as we go along but i currently have the lergy so i'm stuck indoors, lol.

we're collecting the '360?' fe engine and box sunday so we can check if it's actually a 360 or a 390. my problem now is the fact that it's manual so i'm looking at 5 speed boxes to bolt behind it. it's a sickness this hobby/lifestyle of ours and there seems to be no cure #-o

we dropped the exploder axle off and collected the fe engine and box today. no time to check the 'true' size yet as other 'honey dos' took priority at home, lol.
