wow! those holes were way off :shock: the timing chain looks better than most i take apart, normally slacker than a slack thing covered in slackness :thumbright:

And it would seem it’s an original or an original replacement part,
The scary thing is the cam sprocket is aluminium and nylon !
And caused a fair bit of trouble back in the day ?
Just pulled the heads this morning,
This was a bum clenching moment as the car hasn’t been used for over 45 years !
Hav’nt cleaned it as yet but looks like original slugs
No obvious stamping of oversize etc,
Almost zero ware ridge up top, and seemly zero bore damage or scratching etc,
Which is very positive!
It has seriously large valves :thumbright:
