Very nice looking car and it was on eBay earlier and obviously didn't sell.

Where does the £20272 come into it?? Ive never bought a car at auction, would that be a reserve or something??

Re: 68 Cuda
I don’t know what that price is but it’s not realistic, especially at the moment when the market is dead.

Thanks Blue. I dont really follow market prices so havent got a clue. I did notice on my fortnightly or so look at the cars on Ebay, a lot are hanging around for a while these days

UK prices have been dropping for quite some time now Steve,I’m talking about what people are actually paying rather than advertised prices.

Re: 68 Cuda
Gotcha Blue, yeah, I guess thats going to be the measuring stick like houses, they are only worth what someone is willing to pay at the time. I dont think I will ever be in the market for another car to be honest, any spare cash I have goes into the pot to visit my kids. All I know is I couldnt afford my car if I had to buy it now and I stupidly missed my one chance to buy my dream car when I didnt snap up Cannonballs 70 300H a few years ago when it was in the ' generally affordable' category. They are daft money now

You never know Steve, I believe the bubble may have already burst, younger buyers are not replacing older sellers in anywhere near the numbers needed to keep prices up. I believe only the rarest of the most desirable will command big money in the future, the rest will fall away it’s a generational thing. You may get that aircraft carrier yet….

Blue speaks the truth. The car thing is fading out - or at least our car thing. The younger ones seem far more into souped up Audis and BMWs - particularly round where I tend to work , Birmingham area.Blue wrote: Fri Jan 02, 26 7:43 pm You never know Steve, I believe the bubble may have already burst, younger buyers are not replacing older sellers in anywhere near the numbers needed to keep prices up.
