Help with 73 Dart for sale

Hello, new here but thought it a good idea to get involved with people who know about Mopars as I'm looking to buy something. I'm thinking of going to look at a 73 Dodge Dart for sale in Loughborough, It's on ebay,
Could do with some guidance as I've never owned a yank before, I do have a Mercedes 190e though, I'm selling that.
The Dart is at Hamiltons Gray.

It's quite strong money for an A body, especially as it is also a slant six, not a V8.
It does look to be in very good condition and very original, but it is still quite a high price for that spec and year.
Most post 71 cars are worth a bit less as the hi performance aspect disappeared after 1971.

I had thought about the general condition being more important than the slant six, of course a v8 could be a later addition, I am capable of doing that.
Regarding performance, is the suspension setup the same pre and post 71.
after owning a couple of older cars I know the mechanicals are easier to fix than the body.

I am trying to get more info out of the dealer about it and some underside photos, they are supposed to be contacting the previous owner.
I am reluctant to go and look without more details.

I would assume it has the weaker rear axle, so that it is a consideration if you are going to upgrade it later.

It is nice condition, but very strong money in my view, and not a particularly desirable version of a great car type.

There is a 65 Coronet 500 convertible that I know of, red with black interior and roof, 318 auto, asking 19,500, not sure about the shape of the convertible roof though, if it was a hardtop I'd be all over it.

As Mr Clarkson once said, most convertible roofs look like a Tramp’s Hat.
You’re right about wanting to see the underside. Regardless of how good the top side is.

Looks clean and tidy, but as others have said very high price, even with a V8 it would be still high price.

if you have money it is buyers market and you will get a MOPAR for less that 20k, good luck.

Tha 'flat front' of the earlier cars is much more desirable and popular than the later pointy-nose models. And the fact that its all done with the right engine makes it a good buy, in my book
