The Isle of Man - "Yanks are back" 2027

Post by Pete »

After a very successful "All American" trip to the Isle of Man a couple of years ago, the organising company have announced that there will be a repeat in 2027:

"We have recently launched our Isle of Man Festival of Motoring 2027 dates and we are excited to announce that we will welcome American cars back to the island as the main theme to the event.

I have attached the following link that will take you to directly to our website which contains all the accommodation options members can choose from -

https://www.iommotoringevents.com/festi ... oring-2027

We would be thrilled to welcome MMA at the event and would be delighted to discuss the tour with you or the club in more detail to see if it is of interest."

In many respects, the MMA Teamed up with the Mustang Owners Club of Great Britain" (MOCGB) at the last event, and I can confirm that the MOCGB are planing on attending in 2027.

We all stayed at the "Ramsey Park Hotel", which is in the North of the island as it is somewhat quieter than Douglas (but within easy reach - well, everywhere is really!!!) and there was plenty of Parking Space for our over-sized cars (Unlike Douglas!!!).

Please post up if you are interested in attending.

Many thanks

Pete Wiseman.

Indeed, it was a great trip, really enjoyed it; but there seems very little interest in it this time round.....

That's a shame. The photos and stories from last time were great and it's somewhere a bit different to visit. Let's hope more people come forward to support a great event :thumbright:

Those personalised postcards are cool😎. I love it there, nice island but like me, a slave to the weather when it bites. Im hoping to go to the Manx TT at some point as I did the main TT to death in the mid to late 2000s but still want to go again.

My other halfs son in law who now lives in Perth, Australia is a Manxman and was a successful rider there for quite a few years. He keeps threatening to come back for a visit and go there again so fingers crossed 🤞🤞🤞🤞
