Gav's 71 Challenger Convertible - Panther Pink, SB stroker
Moderator: Moderators
Thanks guys, I should update this thread with more recent progress.......although I have not done anything for about a month due to 'house commitments'
and I am straining at the leash to get back into it!!!
I think Dave had it right Jim
.......not likely to be at Nats this year
....but I will be disappointed not to make next year.
Man it has taken a LOT of work and there is plenty left!

That's right Sandy, last Nats I made in the car was 2001...by the 2002 Nats it was undergoing the full treatment!
If ever I get to thinking about how long it has been off the road (occasionally I do, though there is nothing to be gained from it!) I also try to think about how long it was on the road - about 17 years
.
It was quite gratifying at the time that sometimes when I made embarrassed noises about its condition to others whose pukka cars had been off the road for a long time, they would enthuse about the fact that at least I was driving it and keeping it on the road. Now the boot is on the other foot, so I've seen both sides.
I look forward to the day when I have both a decent car and it is on the road!
Dave if I can't do a rolling burnout on tarmac you can have the car off me for free!! It will be no good to me
