I did wonder why he was selling the car but never thought it would be for this. Not that old if I remember right.

I was aware of Pete's illness from others, never discussed it with him directly, I guess that’s how he dealt with it, and fair play him, smashing bloke, always nice to have a chat at the Nats etc or local meets

Very sorry to hear such sad news.......like some others I did not know Pete, but I know his car. Condolences to the family......

This is jayne, petes wife. Thank you very much for all your kind words, he loved his car more than anything and talked about you all a lot, unfortunately I have not met most of you but id just like to thank you for all your lovey messages. He truly was an amazing guy a loving husband and a great father, he will be sadly missed. I will post an update about the funeral arrangements once I have more information. Everybody he knew is welcome to come.

Yes jayne, thank you for posting i knew pete reasonably well and sold him parts and built the transmission for him i have also owned his challenger severall times before him, he was a proper straight guy, my wife and i have both lost severall family members and its just devastating a really trying time my thoughts are with you and your family i was so gutted to hear this news,.

Hi everyone, the funeral for pete is next Thursday (5th) at 1:45pm it is being held at the stockport crematorium on nangreave road, we are having a wake afterwards at the alma lodge hotel we would like you all to join us for a drink and some hot food before your journeys home
