Not much of any consequence to report or show.

Block cleaned a couple of times, in readiness for final clean & assy.

Waiting on a couple of sets of main bearings, I was advised to switch from Clevite Babbitt lined bearings to a Clevite H coated bearing. (thanks Andy)

Babbit bearings were good for when I was running blown, but have a short life & to be honest I just caught them in time.

Had another change on Piston rings, after some more good advice from Marc Lamude, Steve Morris.

All being well, rings & bearings will be here shortly, so can switch back to getting the motor assembled.

Removed some of the hard edges off the pistons, to help prevent hot spots, also contemplating getting pistons coated.

Rear panel now cut out to allow air flow to trans cooler, trans cooler fitted, but not yet plumbed.

Bit more work in the garage & have transferred virtually everything from the old garage, few extra shelfs.

Should be connected to mains this Weds. That was fun, lugging & running a 60 metre cable of 16mm Armoured cable the length of the house/garden

A while back, had another mate put an 'O' ring in the throttle body, mainly to eliminate the need for a gasket & also mounting surface wasn't completely flat, so a couple of thou was skimmed off

I was going to say the workshop looks good but everyone beat me to it - loads of light and concrete looks good job. Is the fan there for a reason?

Ha Ha,
I am working on bulkhead, front tubing, just didn't bother posting a pic. A couple of redundant holes to be welded/patched, filled.

Now I have compressor back, I will prime & paint in near future, but will still keep it black ....
