Well it runs
few getting problems on the fuel side to sort out, but nothing major. Still more mapping to go, but restricted by some of the fuel issues today. I should have those all sorted in the next week or so, plus finish off a few other bits & be ready for testing in early Sept

Too much 'traffic' at the Hot Rod Drags, considering Track day at the Pod on the 4th Sept.Pete wrote:Good news Mark - Hot Rod Drags or is the track not good enough?
A test and tune day would be best to set that beast up....
Still need to map Boost, as I didn't install waste gates correctly & missing bits were at home
Still a few bits to do like,
order a new fuel non return valve as mine was playing up, sticking. Plus order new 10 micron filter, as mine was a little bit clogged, plus change location. Also sort out a couple of oil leaks, change oil, fit windows, some other trim/body pieces, but should be fine (said me, tempting fate

Hi Mark,
I have one of these in stock if it's any help http://shop.aerospacecomponents.com/hig ... ilter.aspx
Nice work.
We will be around at the pod on the 4th if you need anything

Hi Jon,
Thanks for the offer, but I have already ordered a replacement filter & spare, along with #10 one way fuel valve.
My 100 micron filter is reusable, but the 10 micron is not.
Hopefully, I will see you there on the Weds...

Bit more progress today, the 1 One fuel valve & new fuel filters arrived today, so was able to modify the fuel line & install the new one way valve.
It seems to have significantly more restriction pressure on the spring, so I hope that's the answer
Hopefully a couple of #10 fittings arrive tomorrow so I can relocate the 10 micron filter & give the motor a cold start
if OK, will drain oil & refill with fresh oil
Ended up removing quite a bit of the EFI loom as bulk head grommet was missing
all done now, but a job I could of done without
Been doing some of the smaller jobs, never the less they all add up....
Fitted rear side markers, rear number plate
Managed to strip down the window frames from both doors & paint. Also both the aluminium door panels received a clean & polish ( Thanks Harry)
Drivers door now fitted up with polycarbonate widow fitted, need to align door hinges... Will finish passenger door tomorrow.

New few non return valve fitted, along with fuel filters, but still have the same low fuel pressure on cranking. Will fit a primary elec fuel pump, for cranking mode only.
Still plenty if other jobs to be getting on with in the mean time, while waiting for pump...
Fit front n rear screens, modify ice box drain oh and a big clean up being one of them
