Yea the bolt pattern looks equal but is isn’t.

From the looks of the Mancini image, the rounded corners are at the top and the angled corners at the bottom.

No installation instructions though.

Well, you are absolutely correct, the front hangers are a different hole distance at the top, so happy days, passenger side spring out and quick mock up check. Only to find it won’t go on, as it fouls the pipes…

Just carefully bend the pipes out of the way, normal sort of thing you come across when fitting anything aftermarket.

Did look at that, but don’t think I can, they go right across where the hanger should sit.

Had to go and do family stuff, so that is now until after Dragstalgia.

The Superstock Hangers I fitted to the 'Cuda foul worse than that.

I just carefully bent the pipes out of the way for some additional clearance Clarence....

Remember the bolt goes into the Hanger and Spring from the INSIDE. This is a safety measure in the event that you loose the Nut, it keeps the Bolt captive to prevent a catastrophic failure......

Cheers Pete. Yes, I made a note of which way it came off, as the bolt was effectively captive against the rail.

First I’ve managed to get to the car since before Dragstalgia, so back on the rear springs again.

Before I go and snap or rupture pipes, this is what I’m looking at. I’ve gently prised at these and they are not going anywhere from what I can feel, not sure how I’m meant to bend these out of the way? You can also see where the old hanger was clearly up against one of the pipes, where it’s not covered in nearly as much grot as the rest of it.

Still can’t quite see how you tell the difference in the sides for the front hangers either, they look identical to me!

Undo the pipe retaining clip and see if you can get more movement.

Been trying to do that, but it’s rounder than Big Jack McRound at a Round Convention.

Options:

Hammer a 6 point Metric equivalent socket on the retaining bolt and hope for the best, understanding that you may wring its neck (not all bad...).

Use something like a wooden handle to try to bend the pipes out of the way for clearance.

Notch the Hanger Bracket for clearance - there is plenty of meat on those.

Bite the bullet and rip the pipes out and re-pipe....

Go to the Pub....

Can you grind the bolt head away to release the pipes? Bit of wood against the pipes and carefully tap them out of the way with a hammer.

Was planning to redo the fuel lines anyway, just not yet.

Wish I’d managed to empty the tank before I started now…

In the meantime, I am just deciding whether to laugh or cry at the fact that the rear shocks were only finger tight at the top…
