Seriously Billy, this subject has been covered many, many times on the board and there are plenty of cost-effective options out there, do a search on wheel and tyres sizes and stand well back!

There are limitations on B bodies, if you go too wide with the car running at standard ride height, front tyres will scrub the chassis legs on full lock and the rears will scrub the wheel wells.

Hi, my new wheels arrive tomorrow, so if I like them, my 8"x15 chrome 5 spokes will be for sale. If you look at some shakie pics you will see my challey with them on

Hi Billybob,

I would go for a 15 x 6-1/2 steel rim with dogdish hubcaps.

235 x 65 front tyre and 255 x 60 rear tyre.

Any bigger and you start getting problems with the pre70 B-bods.

Bacca.
