More wheels vicar?

Post by Anonymous »

Hi, I keep finding myself looking at wheels on the internet, currently I'm rolling around on original steelies on the front and a pair of battered torque thrust Ds on the back. I think the wheels are 14".
I don't know whether to get some matching torque thrusts for the front and clean up the ones at the back, and keep my tyres, or go and get some bigger wheels all round (maybe 16 by 8s on the back). I don't know what implications this would have on the car though...

Also can anyone tell me what the bolt layout on the front wheels is (69 barracuda), as I've no clue? :-/

Depends what you want to use it for. Some nice 15" aftermarket wheels look good, but more importantly allow the use of better rubber. Quite a few people seem to like their steelies at the mo, though!

Generally it looks better if you stick with 15" all round, and put a higher profile tyre on the back if you want the '70s look ...

Check this for vanity reasons ;)
