A moment of realisation...

Post by Jeff »

I don't think the Fury is really the car I want...

The car I want is no longer in my reach.. And I'm pretty bored.

So I think I will be putting the old girl up for sale at this years Moparfest. And that will be it.
If things change in the future Fantastic, if not? Then I will just be poodling around in me Jeep.
I am keeping this Mopar....... SOLD!

Don't hang on to it for another season then Jeff, get it sold and then direct your efforts at findin new blood, I still think that part of the just about to buy is one of the most exciting things about car ownership.................enjoy it ;)

Must be something special jeff to be now totally out of your reach,is there not a possibility of restoring something.
I don't know what model you would like but surely there is a way..
But if the fury is not the car for you,let it go and maybe get something that puts a smile on your face.
Got to be something out there for you.

Jeff, be positive!

I don't have much spare cash at the moment, it's all going on paying the wages at the moment, so I'm building exactly what I want, slowly but surely and within a pretty tight budget.

Get the Fury sold, roll your sleeves up and start hunting for parts, it'll keep you buzzing, re-kindle you interest and give you a chance to demonstrate your creativity...right, first you need some deuce rails, an early Hemi, a Bell dropped tube and a Halibrand axle for starters! ;)
The pump don’t work coz the vandals took the handles.

What is it that you are really hankering after? :?
24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not…

Hmm..... Probably some thing like the old Coronet, but with a smaller tire...

But when I really think hard, I think I might be bored with the whole scene!

So perhaps flog the Fury and find a little Beetle.

Just confused! :D

I know what you mean Jeff, Im only in Cornwall, hardly Canada, but I often feel disconnected from the 'scene'.
That said, I really like your car, just can't afford the shipping and VAT!

I doubt you could get one for £4K in that condition in the UK... But shipping and taxes would raise that a lot I guess!
