72 Challenger Rear bumper overriders

Post by Faux-7-0 »

Can anyone shed any light on how the bottom end of the overrider would be connected to the body? There's a captive nut within the overrider so there's presumably a bracket of some description to bolt on to but at this stage I've no idea what it even looks like let alone where it connects to.

Thanks in anticipation.

There should be a bracket that bolts between the fixing you have noted on the over-rider and a threaded hole/weld nut in the bottom surface of the rear chassis rail for both sides.

Thank for the comments.

Rear bumper structure seems solid enough without it at the moment so think I'll add it to the "sort in the future" list.
