what is this car

Post by Valcuda »

I was watching a 1961 British black and white crime movie the other week on a movie channel called Ambush in Leopard Street, set in London. There was this RHD car driven by the hoods.

It's not an English Crayford conversion of a Zephyr/Zodiac so it must be a Yank or an Aussie car, probably mid to late fifties. There is script on the front wings behind the headlamp but it's too small to read and I can't read any name above theradiator grill.

Does anybody have an idea as to what car it was?
