Coke for rust removal

Post by Prothed »

I had never tried this but it looks like it works.
I suppose if it dissolves your teeth it will strip rust.

Coke contains phosphoric acid....yes it works but slowly

also very good at removing blood from concrete and tarmac, turns the iron/red in heamoglobin into innocuouse rust like stain.

try also cilit bang (nasty stuff)

mollasses (smelly stuff)

or electrolysis using a old battrey charger (but only outside you can make hydrogen)
