My new wheels have arrived!!!!!!!!!

Post by GJUK »

When I say wheels. I mean wheel.

... And it is damaged with the rims all bent to hell, the other matching wheel has been lost by the muppets at Parcel Force who sent it to the wrong sorting office, made up a postcode, could not be bothered to deal with it or contact me, marked the item as hazordozz wastage and started to send it back to Summit Racing in the US...

Hoping the other one turns up tomorrow now having found it and kicked off with the manager there. They should bend back in to shape but will need to take them to a proper wheel refurbishing place $$$$$$$$

Balls.

Parcel Farce, Royal Fail. Same kind of service from them. Our local postie is mega though.

Just a shame as these have taken SOOOO long to custom make due to the 4.5" back space and extra I paid for this, rather than buying them from Northants Tyres like I should have about 5 months a go :(

Today we took in a parcel for a neighbour, when my girlfriend looked at the parcel it was addressed to someone at an address over a mile away. After spending 20 minutes on the phone she eventually managed to get DPD to come & collect the parcel & put another card through the neighbours door to explain that we don't have a parcel for them! Bananarama!!
BTW it wasn't wheel shaped!

They are absolutely useless!

I got a letter saying import duty was due on a package from the US, paid it online and then found out they had returned it to sender by mistake. Its taken me months to try and get the tax I paid back and in the meantime had to pay shipping and more tax to get it sent back again.

Really frustrating, is it a deal-breaker for the Nats?

I hope you've taken photos and sent it to Summit as well.

Not 100% sure but havent they got some responsibility to get it to you in good condition?

Let us know how it pans out as I wouldn't pay to get them corrected! :thumbright:

Think so. Pete still has the car and rightly wants the wheels and tyres in with him before he chops down the axle. Axle is in bits at the moment 3 weeks might be a rush as I have to buy custom half shafts also...

We will see... I will be there either way.

Shame they turned up damaged. I had a cracked charger grill arrive, takes the fun out of receiving new parts. Thats why places like wasp are great. You don`t have to worry about all this hassle if parts turn up damaged. Well worth it. Good luck.
