Just Sold the Bandit

Post by Powermyster »

Sold my Bandit 600 last night. Had it 5 years, going to miss her. I only drove it a couple times in the last 2 years but we did a few nice trips while I had her. She even took me around the IOM TT Course a couple times

The question is now do I get another bike or get more bits for the Roadrunner. Quiet fancy a Fireblade, haven't been on a sports bike in ages.

Having the extra space in the garage is nice too. Couple of Suspension parts would also be nice on the RR, who knows maybe even a firm feel box or Borgeson.

Anyone want to try persuade me one way or another??

Nope, do what you want, don't let other people sway you one way or the other.

Parts on the car would be a better long term investment, but it's your choice.

Haven't looked at Fireblade prices, but you can get a Blackbird for under 2k I think and you won't lose anything if you sell it on...

Awful position to be in. Decisions like that are what nightmares are made of..........to save all the sleepless nights, give the money to me and you'll never have to think about it again. :D ;) :thumbright:

Spend it on the car..........get that sorted then save for a bike later would be my choice. :thumbright:

The choice is yours, sometimes I flirt with the idea of selling one or both of mine but don't know if I'd be happy being bikeless, that's me though.

It's not going be an easy decision parts for RR good, buy a Fireblade good... Good luck

I actually started thinking of buying a lift for the roadrunner, that might not be a bad investment either.

There is a fireblade not too far from me that's priced reasonable. I'm thinking can't do any harm to look

Should make life a little easier. Going away for a couple weeks gonna repaint garage floor and get this delivered when I'm back. First job will be leaf springs. Gonna get them down to a spring specialist
