When rebuilding Lower Control arms using the stiffening plates and re-welding the tops anybody any idea how tight the adjuster arm should be???
Mine are able to rotate but only with grips and not by hand.
No binding and pretty smooth all the way just tight.
Any help appreciated before I get them powder coated.(':help:')

You'd normally be able to turn them by hand. I guess the metal has moved around during welding and they've gone tight. As long as they can physically move It will probably be ok, once you've set the ride height they don't need to move again.

Are the plates available to buy, or have you made your own.

people often deliberately tighten them up again

very loose is indicative if splayed arms
