hello mates , just a quick question , been out of the motor trade for a good few years now , & not up on the latest mot stuff , are cable ties still good for CV boots , or do they want the OEM type metal band clamps used only ,

You can use cable ties as long as it is secure to its housing. That was a quote from one of my MOT testers at work!
